The best part of your week is practice and games. You’re improving all the time. You can't wait to get back on the ice. But until then there's school and reading and writing which is not as much fun as hockey, right? But if you want to be a leader in life, you have to be a reader.
These guys must have good reading, writing and vocabulary skills to understand multi-year contracts. And you can’t do TV interviews without a good vocabulary.
By reading books about hockey! Books exercise the creative part of our brain by allowing you to form a picture from words on a page inside your heads. If you can do that with hockey, you will always feel you’re at the rink.
